Episode: Flat Tires on the Trip Down Memory Lane (8-4-2008)
Born in Texarkana, Texas in what he refers to as an "accident," Diego Gorbea was raised in Puerto Rico his entire life. After completing his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, he moved to New York City and quickly made the transition to Los Angeles after freezing his ass in New York for 3 consecutive Winters. Diego works as a Union Film Projectionist in both The Directors Guild of America and ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. He is a huge Tennis fan and frequently travels to New York City in late August (during Summer of course) to catch some of the action at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows. But Diego's favorite hobby is of course, watching movies. Shocking, right? His favorite movie of all-time is Back to the Future and is willing to debate anyone who considers it just a Popcorn Movie. Some of his other favorite films include Apocaplypse Now, Sunset Blvd., On The Waterfront, Airplane!, Born on the Fourth of July, 12 Monkeys, United 93 and Krzysztof Kieslowski's Trilogy Red, White, and Blue. |
