Jon Schnepp, one of the masters behind Metalocalypse and Venture Bros, animates the treehouse this week while discussing Anvil: The Story of Anvil and Book of Eli. The hot topics of debate include how clean your junk can get using wet naps and what songs one should listen to during the Apocalypse on their iPod Bandolier.

The A Team trailer has Gariana furious over them denying women the right to contraception, which sends Jon into an alphabetical frenzy, and the Karate Kid has them waxing nostalgic for the Jackie Chan of old.

G2 gets seriously Virtelled in this episode starring none other than wordsmith Louis--you guessed it--Virtel. The trio quickly rallies and declares themselves the Champions of Hay (wait until next week to see if they can expand to more popular and necessary humanitarian efforts). Then shortly after, they start picking out which movie stars they want to make into keychains. Youth in Revolt causes Louis to swear enthusiastically at Gariana, and Daybreakers gets him to swear (but just in general). Find out what kind of music is best to make love to, what kind of liquor goes with what kind of snacky treats, and what exactly a "Fire Extinguisher Freak Out" is.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice brings up discussion of what hair length makes Grae feel unsafe, and Sex and the City 2 needs to go into reshoots IMMEDIATELY to include Gariana's ideas. Michael Patrick King, we KNOW you're listening. Now get to it!!!

This week screenwriter Doug Eboch joins G2 to discuss the usual subjects of midgets, garbage, patriotism, and deskeletonized actresses. Seeing as how he was responsible for the original screenplay of Sweet Home Alabama, he attempts to bring an air of legitimacy to the show. Instead he is forced to weigh in on whether or not Jeff Bridges should be referred to as The Bridge and exactly how dreamy Colin Farrell is on a scale of one to "Do Me Now."

Instead he is forced to weigh in on whether or not Jeff Bridges should be referred to as The Bridge and exactly how dreamy Colin Farrell is on a scale of one to "Do Me Now." He even manages not to cringe or leave the room when Grae refers to her time between waxes as "Furry Vengeance," and then leads the trio in totally freaking out over the coolness of Inception. As a result, Doug Eboch is the forerunner in the "Best Sport" category in the Popcorn Mafia awards.

Author Dave White kicks off 2010 by announcing that he is the death of film criticism. This opens the door for Gariana to begin yammering about mojitos, and Grae invites everyone up to space for an orgy. The movies Precious and Sherlock Holmes only ramp up the madness based on their (possible?) relationship to racism and homosexuality. Even with the promise of a new year, it's nice to know that some things never change.

The movies Precious and Sherlock Holmes only ramp up the madness based on their (possible?) relationship to racism and homosexuality. They are treated to some new delightful recommendations, and severely admonished for not seeing the genius in others. If you want to hear why Dave loves "hot chicks with sad eyes," Gerard Butler naked, MRI machines, and Kim Basinger, then listen and enjoy.

Joey "Coco" Diaz holds court in the treehouse this week giving G2 their REAL education. Not only do they learn his thoughts on Avatar and "The Chicken and the Dog," aka Princess and the Frog...but they also learn why Jennifer Aniston can't keep a man, which Guy Ritchie film was the best, what movie star motivated Joey's recent weight loss, and what he thinks Jan Michael Vincent looks like these days.

He also bestows the two ladies with brand new nicknames and tons of great movies for their Netflix queues. Have a safe and happy New Year, mafiosi!

During discussion of Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, the ladies discuss more nicknames that no one knew they had prior to recording, the merits of pulling guns on the elderly, and iguanas.Up in the Air makes Jackie feel self-conscious about hating everything, and Death at a Funeral has them wondering if we're still allowed to laugh at midgets. Gariana ponders the artist management of Amanda Seyfried with Letters to Juliet, and Grae once again cannot keep from singing and convincing Jackie to harmonize.Revel in the moments that Gariana and Grae completely run out of patience with each other! Tis the season.

Movie fanatic Bryan Strang makes the critical mistake of admitting he's from Jersey, which quickly earns him the nickname "Pookie," as well as the constant judgement of G2. Gariana earns the nickname "Finger on the Pulse," and Grae earns no nickname but insists on getting a "PedEgg for her heart." Somewhere in the middle of all that they discuss whether Fantastic Mr. Fox is in fact any of those words, and if Armored is anything more than a propaganda video for succumbing to peer pressure.

Somewhere in the middle of all that they discuss whether Fantastic Mr. Fox is in fact any of those words, and if Armored is anything more than a propaganda video for succumbing to peer pressure. The teaser for Kick Ass has them confounded and Greenberg gets them discussing whether or not they should hold Noah Baumbach liable for past sins. Listen to hear Gariana apologize to Bryan for her strange outburst, why Bryan's mom is excited about "It's Complicated," and what foley artist Grae Drake is up to this week.

Chris Price, armed with guitar and opinions, kicks off the holiday season by singing an original Christmas song and then ripping into 2012. Grae does a really inappropriate impression of Roland Emmerich & Gariana and Chris can't stop arguing over the worst film of the year. The celebration of the apocalypse continues while discussing The Road. Gariana brings up how crappy it is to have your city used for a post-apocalyptic backdrop, as well as what event will make her put on a dress. Trailer discussion on Babies and Crazy Heart make them ponder guitars, menstrual cycles, and "red flags wrapped in shit"...not in that order. PS. Chris is totally right about "Surprised Kitty" on youtube. Please buy Price's Christmas single...it's a real toe-tapper with spoiler lyrics that reveal there's no Santa Claus!

G2 generally don't share opinions, but they do share a deep adoration for Love Actually. After wracking their brains to figure out how to scream their allegiance to this film from the proverbial mountaintops, they decided to assemble a crew of talented mafiosi to help them make fun of it. This short originally aired as the pre-show entertainment at their live show with Andy Dick on May 31, 2009. In the same way that Disney withholds their animation love from the general public until they release something from their magical vault for 30 seconds, G2 has waited to share this...until now. Please enjoy and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Matthew Robinson, co-director and co-writer of The Invention of Lying, tries to discuss his film and instead ends up in the middle of Grae recasting the role of her co-host and making fun of Gariana's pants. Gariana carries her outrage into an episode-long rant about how her car is NOT made exclusively for losers and how Matty is inconsiderate with other people's things. Finally, Matty is able to distract her and they all discuss how the best part of Men Who Stare at Goats was Jeff Bridges' disappearing/reappearing turkey neck.

Finally, Matty is able to distract her and they all discuss how the best part of Men Who Stare at Goats was Jeff Bridges' disappearing/reappearing turkey neck. How to Train Your Dragon has them geeked out for animation, and Date Night furthers a conversation about font-usage in films. Listen to find out what animal Gariana compares Sarah Jessica Parker to, as well as which teen star Matty picks to have an imaginary hard-on for!

Michael Monterastelli returns to the treehouse, this time with donuts and a penchant for screaming "OH!" at inopportune moments. He shines his Chicago wisdom on The Fourth Kind while Grae tries desperately to hypnotize Gariana, who is too busy trying to pronounce everyone's name correctly. Things quickly descend into madness when they bring up The Box, as Gariana bestows upon everyone the visual of her fellating James Marsden and pressing the button with her lady parts. Yeah, sorry...I should have warned you I was going to say that.

Yeah, sorry...I should have warned you I was going to say that. The Private Lives of Pippa Lee upsets Stelli, as he wonders why someone would sully a bastion of childhood...until Gariana explains that the only thing she DID understand from the trailer is that the film is NOT about Pippi Longstocking. Jake Gyllenhaal with a British accent riles up the trio enough to propel them to the conclusion of episode 84.

Horror aficionado Brian Collins brings his love of gore and terror to discussions about Gentlemen Broncos and The Vampire's Assistant. This show delivers such gems as "Yes, that IS a movie onscreen" and "F*** you, Asia." While Brian discusses hunting desperately for the jokes people around him were laughing at while sitting in the theater, Gariana makes a desperate attempt to join the "We liked the Matrix the first time when it was called Dark City" club. She fails in this endeavor.

She fails in this endeavor. The trio gets to love on Joseph Gordon Levitt some more and talk about the wonders of rock paper scissors tournaments during trailer discussions. Also, Gariana wonders if bearded women in films should actually HAVE beards. What do YOU think? Also to note: The Popcorn Mafia is nominated AGAIN for the Best Film Podcast of 2009! Make sure to vote every day starting November 13th and ending on November 30th.

Royalty strolls into the treehouse this week in form of none other than Paul Goebel! After he brushes off Grae's request for him to make her the Duchess of Cinema, they discuss the dynamics of bathroom noises in the treehouse. They stay on that for an unusually long time, but finally get around to Whip It! Listen to see what derby names each of them takes. Then, boobs are in the spotlight (thanks to the King) when they talk about Paranormal Activity.

They stay on that for an unusually long time, but finally get around to Whip It! Listen to see what derby names each of them takes. Then, boobs are in the spotlight (thanks to the King) when they talk about Paranormal Activity. The Tooth Fairy trailer unites them in their confusion, and the Book Of Eli gets them talking Denzel and using children as shields. Is Paul the best parent ever or worst parent ever? You decide!

Gariana and screenwriter Dave Smith immediately launch into a game of "You Know You're Getting Old When..." and then eventually steer the conversation towards God's chosen people and A Serious Man. This of course happens AFTER the shot of Jameson whiskey, so they all get colorful very fast. Naturally, Zombieland follows the alcohol and mazel-tovving, and Grae gives away a huge spoiler that has caused the Mafia to make their FIRST EDIT EVER in the show. We don't want to ruin this one for you, kids.

Check out this episode to hear an entire conversation about Gariana's penmanship and learn Dave's reasoning against getting DVDs out of boxes. And remember: "Every time you illegally download a film, God kills a cinema."

It took approximately 75 episodes, but screenwriter Jeremy Catalino came back and brought back his "Cattle Speak." This means he repeats the word NUDE a lot in a short amount of time and uses the term MICKEY FICKEY. Gariana, getting in the spirit of the episode, tells a story about getting sexually harassed by a Starbucks employee, and then proceeds to put exclamation points at the end of all her words while discussing The Informant! The three reviewers refuse to pronounce Surrogates without an accent of vaguely hispanic origin, and Gariana forces Jeremy to relive his memories of college-age sexual hi jinx.

Later on, Jeremy uses his lack of crotch sweat to argue a point, and Nightmare on Elm Street and Takers give them all hives.Listen for their tribute to Patrick Swayze and when the DVD release of Away We Go almost causes a fist fight.

If you don't love actress-slash-super-vixen Julia Marchese yet, you're late to the party. This hot chick shows up in a Karate Kid tee shirt confessing her love for C. Thomas Howell?! Are you kidding me?! The September Issue points the conversation in the direction of fashion, and while Grae and Julia are discussing things like clothing resellers, Gariana is reminded of the time she went out in public without pants. Then Jennifer's Body gets the dames a'stirrin' over horror, lesbianism, and cute boys.

Although Grae attempted to get a robot to replace her for this podcast due to her laryngitis-y Kathleen Turner voice, she manages to conjure some sort of noises that sound like talking in spite of it all. Chatting with G2 this week is Ryder Palmere, who has bedroom eyes and possibly drinks his own urine (according to Gariana, who won't let the point rest). World's Greatest Dad and 9 are on the chopping block amid conversation about the usual: stripping, particles of dead people in precipitation, and how Grae doesn't have a gag reflex. That Vampire's Assistant and Paranormal Activity conjure hot debate while Gariana refuses to let anyone forget that a monkey tried to "throat" her. Listen for Grae's throat spray and hand claps instead of laughter!

Extract, Halloween 2, Up in the Air, and The Boys are Back illuminate the topics of Marc's dreams, Grae being the worst neighbor ever, speaking Spanish, how children should be free range, and that the Wayans outnumber us all. And we should be very afraid of that. Very afraid.

Marc Edward Heuck, our favorite geek to beat, aka "Heuckaron," wears a Shine tee shirt to record this episode. Nuff said. And in other news, we are three quarters of a century old! Don't we look great for our age?!

Instead of being Live from A Shoebox this week, Allison Agosti is in the treehouse with G2 as a captive audience. Our ladies multi-task their way through the show, reviewing District 9, squabbling over the title of Queen of Porn, defining sexual positions, and discussing what happens when Gariana gets a pimple.Ponyo brings the show to a full boil, as Alison claims that Matt Damon only stars in specific movies that have "fog or boring" in them. For some reason Grae begins doing horrible impressions of the Fonz, they talk about neglectful parenting, and then discuss what drinking bong water must be like. The Lovely Bones and Love Happens further our descent...Alison admits she's afraid of her feelings, they imagine Peter Jackson being withholding of his CG love, and then they get all hot and bothered while imagining Aaron Eckhart as a stallion bathed in rosewater. There's really too much in this show to write a coherent summary...so SIT ON IT!

Tess Rafferty, sassiest broad this side of the Mississipp, brings the fury to the treehouse this week as the threesome discusses Julie & Julia, G.I. Joe, and what jobs Gariana should apply for that were previously held by murderers. Listen to find out what word is only spoken in whispers, what the topic of Gariana's new blog is going to be, and the name of the new GI Joe character whose only job is to enlighten moviegoers.Fantastic Mr. Fox impresses no one, while A Serious Man gets them excited about banging men's heads against the wall. Listen to hear the exciting and comprehensive list of DVDs that come out this week! Not really. Gariana just reads all of them to prove a point.

Eric Hoffman, co-author of Comedy by the Numbers, comes in to share his theories on hilarity, films, and how male stars should not have red coloring on their lips because it makes him "smoochy." 500 Days of Summer leads them to discuss Grae becoming a lesbian for Zooey Deschanel, make out sessions in various forms of precipitation, and erecting emotionally-purposeful walls. When they switch to Funny People, the trio discusses how the title is ironic and Eric mentioned he finds sexy vampires much more interesting.

During Whip It, they desperately try to figure out appropriate Derby names, and Tron Legacy makes them relive pinball games, seeing a Light Cycle, and trips to the Slutty Evil store. And also...Dave Rath, we've got our eye on you.

In this episode, G2 does something a little bit different by scouring the Comic Con floor for mafiosi willing to show them love. Anyone generous enough to give them an interview is rewarded by getting a mic shoved a little too close to their face while G2 manages to offend either their style of dress or their families. The essence of the Con is captured through dialogue with voice over actors, old friends, animation lovers, men who may or may not be dressed as Neo, girls who LOVE Harry Potter, and many many more.

The American Jerk, Rob Reuter, offers up his hotel room and his sharp sense of Jerkitude to the Mafia this week. The night before recording at Comic Con, they drank to excess in order to properly review The Hangover. Then they quickly discover that was a mistake as they make really disturbing interpretations of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Each podcaster puts on their Truth Hats and they confess their deepest, darkest secrets, like how Rob woke up in a hotel room with blood on his hands, Gariana has a thing for sex and ribbons, and Grae woke up in a compromising position on New Year's Day in 2005. No trailers this week, but instead some Comic Con recollections, straight from their very own pensieves.

We're gonna level with you this week mafiosi...there are a lot of references to men's genitalia in this episode. Bringing talent and movie reviews that you "can jerk to" is director Peter Atencio. The films Bruno and I Love You Beth Cooper really get them to open up to each other, as Grae shares the sex club she belongs to, Gariana confesses what breaks her concentration during intimate moments, and Peter divulges what part of his body he calls The Bunker.

And it just keeps getting more and more difficult to determine what the most inappropriate thing in this episode IS. Episode 67, indeed!

Gariana kicks off the episode by declaring that Grae's inability to correctly identify the episode number makes her "fillings hurt." Then four-time guest BJ Serviss, instead of reviewing Moon, tells tales of famous people allegedly getting busted for putting cameras in women's bathrooms. The conversation truly runs the gamut, and when they finally come around to Public Enemies, Grae suffers from a complete inability to review it objectively because she got so turned on by all the testosterone.

The Time Travelers' Wife causes BJ to go on a passionate rant about men with no clothes on, and then the three ponder what life in "Director Jail" might be like. The Invention of Lying trailer gets them all nostalgic, amped up, and screaming about racism. They are, as always, a bastion of decorum.

Recorded on location at the Silent Movie Theater in Los Angeles, CA, Andy Dick takes the stage with G2 to discuss Star Trek and Wolverine. Amid the madness of Gariana threatening people with phasers and Grae insisting on doing costume changes, Andy keeps his composure and manages to not only diagnose Grae's addictions but also picks things up that Gariana drops onstage. And during trailer discussions of Bruno and Gooby, the live audience delights in seeing how pleased and terrified they are, respectively.

G2 would officially like to thank Andy for coming out to play, as well as all of their expertly trained ninja staff that pulled the show off without a hitch. And of course, without their beloved mafiosi in the seats, there wouldn't have been a show in the first place. You all are magnificent.

Comedian Graham Elwood enters the treehouse in a Blackhawk helicopter among a spray of bullets. He tells tales of storming the beaches of Afghanistan AND getting kicked out of movie theaters by 16 year old ushers in the same breath!Together they detonate The Hurt Locker (and ignore Grae's pleas to rename it The Hurts So Good Locker), and then give Michael Bay a reason to use the rape kit they sent him last week when they discuss Transformers 2. Listen for when Gariana turns her back for one second and ends up baffled, alone, and more than a little intrigued when Graham proclaims "Once I fuck a woman, she stays fucked."We officially promise to have Graham Elwood return to the show when there is not terrible Hollywood Bowl concert traffic that throws our recording schedule off!

Joshua Lou Friedman, 1st Assistant Director extraordinaire, starts off the episode by "offending Gariana's people" and recounting tales of terror from his youth. It only picks up from there as they discuss Land of the Lost, along with Grae's insistence on retelling the story where she makes a pass at Marty Krofft. The Girlfriend Experience yields incredibly interesting but totally un-sexy discussion.

Even though horror enthusiast and screenwriter Jared Rivet questioned what he could possibly bring to this week's episode, it turns out he is of vital importance. For every moment G2 bickers, he is there to bring it back to his brilliant point. For every moment G2 bickers, he is there to bring it back to his brilliant point. The 3 dig deep into Away We Go and Drag Me to Hell and really have a kick ass discussion, thanks to their new charming taskmaster. But even he can't stop them from unraveling during Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, which makes them reminisce about Harvey Keitel naked and Nic Cage on cable, and Jared makes sure that everyone says Shutter Island with proper diction. They are all a mess by the end of the episode, and Grae screams a lot. No really, everybody. A lot.

Even though she claims she is not that nice a person (especially in grocery stores), Grae says Gariana is still much worse as evidenced by her continually judgmental behavior in the El Capitan movie theater in Los Angeles. All ladies send Pixar their love as they review Up, and then spend time discussing all of the things they would have rather been doing instead of watching Terminator Salvation. After an extended conversation about dogs, melting butter, and jelly beans, Pontypool raises many questions and The Road makes them wonder if they would ever survive Armageddon. Also make sure to keep an ear out for Gariana sending love to everyone who attended and helped out with their live show. Seriously, she goes on and on about it. She loves you.

Alonso Duralde is the real deal, people...so don't waltz into this podcast thinking otherwise. Bringing with him an encyclopedic knowledge of film AND cheesy poofs, Alonso drops some knowledge on G2. The trio delights in discussing Brothers Bloom because it allows them to maniacally repeat Rinko Kikuchi's name and talk about juggling chainsaws. Angels and Demons garners discussion about the Worst Papal Election Ever and gelato.

Go ahead, don't be scared. Search inside yourself. And then go twitter about it or something.

While Grae demands that street bums sing show tunes to please her, Gariana reminisces about her grandmother. Michael reveals that while watching Next Day Air, he felt like Omega Man, and Grae admits a terrible secret. The Girlfriend Experience gets them talking about porn and the Valley, then their geekiness surfaces over District 9. While DVD releases generally unimpress them, they do get super psyched over their upcoming live show at the end of May.

Grae reveals Dave Ciaccio's secret identity right off the bat and forces him to admit he has a problem with insomnia. After declaring G2 narcs, he finally gets around to reviewing Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. The fun of slamming Matthew McConaughey smoothly segues into slamming Jim Jarmusch and Limits of Control. After Grae insists on demonstrating things that would be much better illustrated on a video podcast and Gariana shows off the zombie bite on her foot, Dave gets frightened and flat out refuses to have sex with a man just so G2 has a good picture to upload on their website. Humpday causes Grae to formulate a fantasy starring paper product mascots and American legends. Then Julie and Julia serves as the impetus for the worst Julia Child impersonations ever. And yes, the title of this podcast is nothing but the truth.

This episode is chock full of insider stories: Jeff holds Mike Tyson's wad of cash, Grae invites Marty Krofft out for burritos, and Gariana just provides a lot of weird-sounding foley with her handkerchief that she keeps sneezing into. While they ponder Taking Woodstock, Jeff remains pleased that he turned them down for a job back in the day. 500 Days of Summer causes Grae to delve deep into her own melancholy while Gariana rejoices in the presence of cartoon birds. Always the odd couple!

Danielle Koenig classes up the treehouse from Minute One as she graciously allows Grae to mess up her intro. While the three women ponder State of Play, Danielle shares her favorite writing device used by stupid screenwriters, and then Gariana launches into an angry tirade over Crank High Voltage. Danielle mentions something pressing that kept her from watching the first 30 seconds of the film, and Grae gives herself a new stripper name. All 3 wonder if Facing Ali is gonna make them feel "up against the ropes," and then Paper Heart makes them all mushy and sentimental. Listen to find out what happens with Grae and Gariana watch films on an airplane, and what to shout in order to get your way. Oh yeah, and Danielle also calls herself a theater fag. In a classy way.

Sure, Sarah Buster is here to raise the hotness quotient in the treehouse. But she's ALSO here to discuss the menu of Chik-Fil-A and sense the vibrations of fruit salad. During their heated discussion of Observe & Report, she also provides Grae with another opportunity to provide foley for the show (you're welcome). When they roll around to Knowing, they ponder life with deaf kids and why it's awesome to not ride public transportation.Grae gets bored during their discussion about The Hurt Locker, and they all join her in BoredomTown when they talk about Astroboy. Listen to see whose name Gariana mispronounces for the 700th time, and what exactly goes on at Sarah Buster's stage shows.

Ryan Hedge takes time off from planning the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival of Santa Barbara to come and drive Gariana to madness. Despite Grae's warnings that Gariana will actually end his life, he continues forward boldly by trying to make them rent awful films and doing terrible aristocratic accents. Grae shares all of the life lessons that Fast & Furious taught her. Adventureland doesn't impress them all, but Gariana certainly does when she describes how she fought the law...and the law won.

Gary Wilson is the perfect party guest for G2's 52nd episode--he has astute observations about butts, vivid similes about genitalia, and poorly functioning eye muscles. Monsters vs. Aliens and Race to Witch Mountain are under the microscope this week, and although the episode is geared towards children's films, the content of this recording is probably the least kid-friendly they have ever done.

The trio ponders food falling from the sky in Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and then loses their collective minds over Where the Wild Things Are. It appears as though, in a full year of bringing you cinematic musings, Grae is still kind of slutty, Gariana still can't speak Spanish, and neither one of them really pay attention to what their guest has to say. Rejoice in the familiarity, mafiosi.

Okay, new video from the girls at Sundance is here! Grae interviews people in line for Black Dynamite. The man she interviews talks about his junk. What is it about Grae that makes people wanna open up?

Hello again world, web guy here. Please enjoy the first (of hopefully many) man on the street interviews conducted by our favorite podcasters. Grae sports a smart winter hat while she interviews people in line for Black Dynamite. The man she interviews talks about his junk. And by that I mean his penis. What is it about Grae that makes people wanna open up?
